Pakistan Salary Tax Calculator 2026-27 (FBR Slabs) by TheCalcTools

How the Pakistan Salary Tax Calculator 2026-27 (FBR Slabs) works

For tax year 2027 (1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027), Finance Act 2026 set eight slabs for salaried individuals: 0% up to Rs 600,000, then 1%, 11%, 20%, 25%, 29%, 32% and 35% above Rs 7,000,000. The 9% surcharge on salaried income above Rs 10 million was removed.

Each rate applies only to the part of income inside its slab, so tax rises smoothly. The calculator annualises your monthly salary, works out the yearly tax and divides by 12, which is how employers withhold tax on salary.

You are taxed under the salaried slabs if salary is more than 75% of your taxable income. Enter taxable salary only: exempt allowances (for example the medical allowance within its limit) should be left out.

The formula

Tax year 2027: Rs 0–0.6M 0%; 0.6–1.2M 1%; 1.2–2.2M Rs 6,000 + 11%; 2.2–3.2M Rs 116,000 + 20%; 3.2–4.1M Rs 316,000 + 25%; 4.1–5.6M Rs 541,000 + 29%; 5.6–7.0M Rs 976,000 + 32%; above 7.0M Rs 1,424,000 + 35% (each % on the amount above the slab’s start)Tax year 2026: 0%, 1%, 11%, 23%, 30%, 35% above Rs 4.1M, plus a 9% surcharge on tax when income exceeded Rs 10M.
