How the Marks Percentage Calculator (Board Exam Grade) works
Percentage = marks obtained ÷ total marks × 100. For Matric (SSC) in Pakistan the total is usually 1,100 or 1,200 depending on the board and year.
The traditional Pakistan board scale gives A1 for 80% and above down to E for 33% to 39%, with 33% as the pass mark in each subject. The Federal Board introduced a new grading scheme from 2026, so check your board’s result card.

- 912 out of 1,100 = 82.91%: grade A1.
