Class Rank Percentile Calculator by TheCalcTools
How the Class Rank Percentile Calculator works
‘Top X%’ = rank ÷ class size × 100. The percentile is the share of the class ranked below you: (class size − rank) ÷ class size × 100.
Colleges and scholarships sometimes ask for a top 10% or top 25% rank. Ties and weighted grades are handled differently by each school.
The formula
Top % = rank ÷ size × 100; percentile = (size − rank) ÷ size × 100
