True Shooting Percentage Calculator (TS%) by TheCalcTools
How the True Shooting Percentage Calculator (TS%) works
True shooting percentage measures scoring efficiency including threes and free throws: TS% = points ÷ (2 × (FGA + 0.44 × FTA)). The 0.44 factor estimates how many free throws make up one possession.
Effective field goal percentage gives three-pointers 1.5 times the value of twos: (FGM + 0.5 × 3PM) ÷ FGA.
The formula
TS% = PTS ÷ (2 (FGA + 0.44 FTA))
