How the Military Time Converter (24-Hour to 12-Hour) works
Military time numbers the hours 00 to 23, so no AM or PM is needed. 1:00 PM is 1300 and midnight is 0000.
From 12-hour time: 12 AM becomes 00, hours 1 to 11 AM stay the same, 12 PM stays 12, and 1 to 11 PM add 12.
