How the Random Number Generator works
Set the minimum, maximum and count. With no repeats, each number can appear only once, like drawing raffle tickets from a hat; with repeats allowed, each draw is independent, like rolling a die.
Numbers come from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), the same source used for security keys, and every value in the range is equally likely. Nothing is sent to a server.
Worked example
Minimum 1, maximum 49, 6 numbers, no repeats, sorted: a result might be 3, 11, 19, 27, 38, 46. Each press draws a new, independent set.
Frequently asked questions
Is this truly random?
It uses a cryptographically secure pseudo-random generator seeded by your device’s entropy, which is unpredictable for all practical purposes, including prize draws.
Can I pick lottery numbers with it?
Yes: set the lottery’s range, the count and no repeats. Every combination is equally likely, so no numbers are luckier than others.
