Dice Roller (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20) by TheCalcTools
How the Dice Roller (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20) works
Each die is rolled independently with an equal chance for every face, using your browser’s cryptographic random generator. The total adds the kept dice and your modifier.
Keep options cover common game rules: highest die (advantage), lowest die (disadvantage) and drop the lowest (for example 4d6 drop lowest for ability scores). The average shown is the expected total for all dice: n × (sides + 1) ÷ 2 + modifier.
The formula
Worked example
Rolling 2d6: each die shows 1 to 6, the total ranges from 2 to 12 and averages 7. A total of 7 is the most likely (6 of 36 combinations).
