How the Add Business Days Calculator (Date After N Working Days) works

Business days are Monday to Friday. The count starts on the next business day after the start date, so 1 business day after a Friday is the following Monday.

Public holidays are not known for every country, so enter how many fall on weekdays in the period and the calculator extends the date by that many business days.

The formula

Result = start + n + 2 × ⌊(weekday index + n) ÷ 5⌋, with Monday = 0 and weekend starts moved back to Friday
