How the Half Birthday Calculator works

A half birthday is six months after your birthday. When that month is shorter than your birth date (for example 31 August → February), it falls on the month’s last day.

Families sometimes celebrate half birthdays for children born near the holidays or for babies’ six-month milestone.

The formula

Half birthday = birthday + 6 months
