Winning percentage is wins divided by games. Most leagues count a tie as half a win and half a loss; some ignore ties.

Games behind measures the gap to the leader: the average of the difference in wins and the difference in losses.

Win% = (wins + 0.5 × ties) ÷ games; Games behind = ((W₁ − W₂) + (L₂ − L₁)) ÷ 2
